While Bounce Nitro Boost is by definition a cold brew coffee, it’s not just regular iced coffee. Raoul, our master roaster, tells us how it’s made and why it’s different than iced coffee.
Put simply, Nitro Cold Brew coffee is brewed in the fridge and in cold water over 12 to 24-hour brew time, depending on weather/seasonal conditions. It, of course, depends on the recipe, and, importantly, it’s done to taste. Because it’s made with cold water, it is generally a bit mellower, and tastes more rounded out, so there’s more of a full body.
The nitrogen effect also cuts the acidity that is connected with traditional cold brew, making it easier on the stomach. And so, in the main, cold brew coffee produces a more sweeter and smoother coffee.
In short, whereas draft coffee comes straight from the tap, Bounce Nitro Boost is cold brew coffee that is infused with nitrogen. Similar to a soda fountain, nitrogenized cold brew coffee is extra smooth to give it a rich, creamy head, similar to nitro draft beer like Guinness. Bounce Nitro Boost, infused with nitrogen, extracts sweet flavors and a smooth finish from the coffee.
This is the effect of nitrogen bubbles being smaller in size than those of carbon dioxide, making it harder for the nitrogen in coffee to dissolve in the water and resulting in a beverage with a thicker “mouthfeel.
What Is Nitro Cold Brew Coffee?

How Bounce Nitro Boost is Made?
Bounce Nitro Boost is released through a pressurized valve with tiny holes. As high pressure forces the cold brew past a disc, it produces a creamy, stout-like effect.
How Does it Taste?
“Smooth, clean, lovely cold coffee,” Raoul says. There’s a cool factor to a nitro pour when you see the coffee cascading. It also creates a much silkier mouth feel when you drink it.
